As of now, I only expect < 5% people to get approved this month.
If we are still current for Sep 2010 bulletin, then expect around 35 % to get through.
If we still stay current until the end of the year, expect ~ 80 % to get through.

There will be so many stuck in namecheck....nobody can be sure that their fortunes will follow even a single one of these predictions...since anyone can land in the blackhole...I WISH WISH WISH we cld do something abt the name check mess!!

With parameshwara's anugrah, my status changed yesterday(Sep 1st, 2009) to "Card Production Ordered".
End to my long wait and frustration.
I wish and hope others get their card soon.
Thanks to ImmigrationVoice team for their work without them, USCIS wouldn't be so efficient and wouldn't have cared to process the applications in the order of PD. IV is doing lot of things which will help the immigration community and I completely support their activities.

The cut-off dates for the Employment Third and Third preference �Other Worker� categories were held and then retrogressed in an effort to bring demand within the average monthly usage targets and the overall annual numerical limits. I'm just curious to know why Zoe Lofgen's website does not show this letter in press releases like her previous letters. The letter is awesome and has all aspects of a legal notice. Looks like she is going to sue USCIS herself on our behalf! :D

I wont never want to be a US citizen anyways. GC is all required. are you kidding me. why would you want to be a citizen here anyways.

one, to vote, exercise a democratic principle, you can't complain about the government unless you actively participated.
two, I have 3 kids, and it's likely they'll stay here, my 12 year olds were 3 when we first arrived. My lawyer highly recommended we consider citizenship after another client had challenges. Despite good parenting this guy's kids got into trouble with the law, to the extent that they had their green cards revoked and they were in deportation process. However had they been US citizens whilst there were consequences they wouldn't have their citizenship revoked.

Everyone knows that IV had requested its members to booked their ticket for 13th of Sept. Later on we have to change it to 18TH of Sept.
There are number of members who have booked their ticket for 13th of Sept. and then later have paid some fees to change it to 18th of Sept. We would like to tell each and every member of IV that IV have not reimburse anyone any fee difference that airlines have charged them. We did receive the initial request but later on they all changed their mind and said that we would not like IV to reimburse the difference that airlines have charged. WOW
Cheers to everyone who decided not to ask IV to reimburse the fee difference that they paid to Airline companies.

Definitely agree with herd mentality and haste, but can't blame them also. What if the dates go back again next month. So its a catch-22.

If dates went back and someone did not get Green card it is because they called every day and spammed the system. Or someone else called every day and now everyone else has to wait because of someone's foolishness. Now they all need to wait for next year. Nothing wrong in it. At least people will learn a lesson of collective responsibility instead of acting selfishly.

90,000 VISAS
Our contacts in Washington have told us that there is a growing chance of a bill to recapture as many as 90,000 visas. The language of the draft bill that we've seen calls for a full recapture of the unused visas from 2000-04.
EVERYONE should contact their Congressman and let them know just how important this is

Now that all dates are current and it is CLEAR that the Immi-system if fed enough money will give you what you want,i think Immigrant voice should start campaigning for Premium Processing in 485 stage.
Offer $5,000 per application to get answer within 90 days guranteed and i bet you they will put this into effect by next year.
As far as the unfairness issue,i am just glad that at least we will be able to change employers after 6 months and have AP.
By the way i waited 6 yrs in DBEC hell for LC approval so i know what stress those poor souls still trapped their feel like seeing this and wondering if they will get LC approval on time.

I will elaborate. EB2 was current untill September 30th 2005. So where does the 2003 "screeching blah blah" come into effect?
Besides ike I have posted countless times...there were only 2000+ approvals for Labor certifications for India between march2005 and october 2005
and only 7000 labor certifications for India between march 2005 and december 2005.
These include a number of labor certifications for other worker categories. I myself saw at least 500 pipefitters and welders and joiners whose labor certification had been approved from Louisiana (maybe cos of katrina)
so if the priority dates have to move for EB2 they will move to jan 2006 (like the chinese have) or remain at 2004
there are also a TON of filers who filed in first quarter of 2005, mainly to stay in the old system, as people were scated of the new one (PERM). maybe 300-400 of those are from where I work (they also incidentally started processing GCs again from Q4 2004 after layoffs in 2001-2003. So expect a bump before we get into PERM, but as you say after March 2005 things should be smooth till 2006 Jan

The point is to get a Bill created eventually and have a campaign. We have to start somewhere. Also I would like to have a centralized point for discussing and acting on, just reform for Legal immigrants, mostly employment based, but it can evolve into other eventually, student, family...

I have my PERM approved but recently got my BEC (PD Dec 2004) approved in first week of july.

But then most consulting companies will not hire H1B's because it won't be cost effective.
Anyway just by checking most of this consulting firms businesses they will be able to uncover all the fraud.
It's very unethical to make you lie on your resume and then try to market you to an employer with fake experience, also nobody has responded to my comment. Real Companies like PWC, IBM pay you while you're on bench, while this indian consulting companies break the law by not doing that.
